Fellow Haïtian compatriots,
I am posting this inspirational nostalgic video here to mobilize great thoughts and opinions from some Haïtian members on here. I encourage you all to ask yourselves, ourselves "What Can I/You/We Do For Haïti?" I would like to see if this old song can motivate us to return to Haïti to put much efforts into rebuilding Haïti , our beloved country. Let us prove the many pundits out there wrong by lifting that dare indeed.
This video song is dedicated to all Haïtians wishing to want to contribute in changing Haïti that no Haïtian government alone can do by itself for Haïti. Let us massively mobilized to make differences for change in Haïti. I call on all of us youths, musicians, nurses, investors, earned degree individuals and more... Please let us regain back the pride to strive in making Haïti better. We as a people are not incapacitated nor enslaved any longer to not be able to achieve and confront the challenges Haïti is facing today. We as a people are aware that Haïti needs us, its very own children, now more than ever... and there is no more excuses, no more waiting around for others to do for us. Let us go invest, contribute and partake into making Haïti this self-sufficient nation it holds such potential of being. Donations and the international bodies can only do so much, but one can never truly really know their true intents in their doings for Haïti. Let us take the self-initiatives as there is no more time to just dream and hope for Haïti to change on its own. We know how to do this, we will do this because... Let us, too, say "Yes We Can!"
The only people who can really know what is good and best for Haïti are strong Haïtians like ourselves to help making sure this time around that Haïti does succeed. We are going to change Haïti now and no later. We will change Haïti indeed perhaps not for us alone, but rather for our future children and their future generations whom we owe it all to and for. Thus, who can actually make home home again other than ourselves who truly know our home as it once were and now how we are envisioning it to be?
Engaged and ready we are now for Haïti,
Will Rosenberg.
P.S: I welcome and as I challenge many of you to prove the pundits wrong that we are not a nation of mediocrity, scarce innovations and ill intentions for our very own native land. As I leave you with this inspirational video as I sure hope it will do just as intended... which is to inspire and motivate as it will and shall.
"This is the moment, our moment... and no other time is as crucial than this very moment as our urgency of now for Haïti." - Wilgëens "AfroLatino" Rosenberg.
