Letter To The Haitian Government

Toussaint Louverture

Your Honorable(s):
The Haitian President, Senators, Deputies, extended government members and colleagues,

     It is my firm and distinctive belief to say a country without its Armed Forces is no Country at all. Or if at all there is to be a country, therein for its sovereignty to be respected, an Armed Forces for such a country is vital. This lack of civic servitude to the nation is what is causing the existing immensity aspects of the corruption issues in Haiti today.

     As said such, many men and women will grow up not knowing or earn up to the true sense of Patriotism, sacrifice and respect for their country, the beloved Haiti.  Such lacking of/in "civism" is often the primary reason among many reasons why within the political arena in Haiti many politicians are accustomed to not really care about the greater cause for Haiti not facing accordingly the conditions at hand in Haiti which is and should always be for the Greater Good of the Nation, its citizens.

     Your excellence(s), the re-institution of Haiti's own Armed Forces would serve as a great educational and economical tool to help boost Haiti's image and strength.  Also, it would improve the social aspects in Haiti and it would stem great foreign relations for Haiti.  It would open doors for many youths. Young men and women of Haiti would have an alternate means to education and financial support as well as it would establish great pride and respect by serving their country.  The new reformed and improved Haitian Armed Forces would surely help with the congestion of the densely populated issue of the country's main Capital of Port-Au-Prince.

     By opening bases in provincial outskirts of Haiti's countrysides, this would help in the re-establishing the level of cleanliness, rebuilding, order and security of the country thankfully due in result that many young men and women would by now and then been institutionalized in various branches of their Country's Armed Forces in various provincial regions of Haiti.  If there is a Haitian Armed Forces in Haiti in which Haiti's very own can feel they are taking part of/in that they contributing to instilling order in Haiti, the nation would then have a greater sense of wanting to maintain the integrity of the nation as there will have this national armed force that can be deployed when and if chaos were to arise.  Many medias would not have time to collect so many bad images of Haiti to spin negatively with bias and double standards to the world internationally if there is better sense of Nationalism, Patriotism and Pride in Haiti.

     Quite successfully, this would bolster the level of tourism and would open doors for many other business prospects and families abroad would feel safer to want to return and invest and send money more frequent which would be a great turn out for the economy.  The re-institution of the Armed Forces would serve primarily as a mean for young men and women to study and master many Engineering capabilities to help in the rebuilt of the country's Infrastructure as well as they would be train and learn to respond to chaos and disasters much like the US National Guard and US Army Reserves.

     Indeed this will need a serious push from the Haitian government to reverse the UN mandate of the MINUSTAHs and seriously demand for funding through the various ill allocated aids from the International Committees as well as such a push should aim at demanding their participation to acknowledge that this would serve Haiti best for the long term as it would show a tremendous step toward the restoration of the Country's true dignity and sovereignty.

      Your Honorable(s), this moment should be the one Haiti must seize and capture to restore its respectful image as the Pearl it once was and by fact always is.   But most importantly remember that, a country with no form of Defense is no country at all.

Very respectfully a fellow kinsmen of HAITI,

Rosenberg,
Wilgëens
